Applications:
Used to determine initial and final set times of portland cement, masonary cement, hydraulic hydrated lime and certain mortars.

Details:

• The adjustable support has horizontal arms to guide two weighted needles with flat-end cylindrical stainless steel tips.
• The support assembly is adjustable. Base has ample flat shelf for positioning specimens.
• The two steel needle weights are calibrated to meet specifications. 
• The needle points are manufactured from stainless steel. 
• The initial setting needle is 2.12 mm in diameter and weighs 113 grams. 
• The final setting needle is 1.06 mm in diameter and weighs 453.6 grams.
• Supplied with 02 Nos  glass plates - Dimension 100 ± 5 mm square
• Also supplied complete with 02 Nos Cement paste pat Mould (Base diameter 76 ± 13 mm & Top diameter 50 ± 13 mm)
