General Requirement:
- Used to determine the Field Dry-Density (FDD) of fine aggregate in the field.

Drive-Cylinder (Core-Cutter):

- Design: Perfectly round with a diameter of 4 in., height of 4.5 in., and thickness of 1/8 in..
- The cylinder should have a groove on one side for fixing with the driving dolly.
- The other end should have a cutting edge with an angle not more than 150°.

Driving Dolly Attached with Collar:
- Each drive cylinder is required to have a driving dolly attached with a collar.
- The dolly should have a groove for fixing with the drive-cylinder.
- After fixing, there should be a 1-inch clear gap between the driving dolly and the drive cylinder.

- Each drive cylinder (or Core-Cutter) requires a driving hammer.
- Hammer Diameter: 152 mm.
