Construction Details:
Made of brass/Gunmetal with the shape, dimensions and tolerances as shown in fig.1 of IS: 1208?1978. The ends b & b' are known as clips, and the parts a & a`as sides of the mould. The dimension of the mould will be such that when properly assembled, it will form a briquette specimen having the following dimensions.

- Distance between clips : 30 +/? 0.3mm
- Width of mouth of clips : 20 +/? 0.2mm
- Width of minimum cross : 10 +/? 0.1mm
- Thickness Arrangement : 10 +/? 0.1m
