It is a more usesful instrument for research the rule of photoelectric effect: 1)Electrons inside an object will escape to the surface immediately when light irradiates on it; 2)Initial kinetic energy of the escaping electrons has nothing to do with intensity of light, but increased along with increment of light frequency; 3)Saturation current is positive rated to intensity of light; 4)The so called ' red limit frequency'. The instrument can also determine the stopping potential and qualitative analysis the Plank's constant (h=6.62619*I034 J.S).
