The apparatus consists of a sheet metal case 32x7.5x10cm (lxhxw), a plano- convex lens of 5 cm dia and 15cm, is held in position by three screws inset 7.5cm from one end, a covered prism table in set in front of the lens, a 12V lamp fitted in the holder and placed behind the lens can be easily moved up to 15cm for focusing. Lamp mounting is enclosed to avoid light coming out of the case, with 1 meter two core cable lamp & prism
