Application of V?Funnel test method for SCC :
The V? Funnel flow time is the period in which, a defined volume of SCC (self?consolidating concrete) needs to pass through a narrow opening and gives an indication of the filing ability of SCC, provided that blocking and or segregation do not take place. The flow time of the V?Funnel test is to some degree related to the plastic viscosity.

Construction Details :
The apparatus consists of a V?shaped funnel, which is supported on a Mild steel rigid frame. The frame and the funnel are spray painted or powder coated in attractive shades..
